'HERE' IS NOW
It’s an idiom that’s become a reality-tv perennial, but it really is all about the journey. Especially when the trek involves a series of cross-country escapes with the stunning Agyness Deyn as captured by Luca Guadagnino, the director of “I Am Love.”Produced by ALLDAYEVERYDAY’s Lucy Cooper and Waris Ahluwalia for the Starwood Hotel Group’s Luxury Collection,...

ALLDAYEVERYDAY’s campaign with ALDO Rise was featured today in Mashable and features a quote from our new director of communications.  “Too often brands try to embed themselves in hip burgeoning communities like Tumblr with the expectation of ‘taking advantage’ of the audiences without giving any thought of what they can add to the community themselves,” Julie Fredrickson, director of...

BURNING RUBBER
2012 brings the sights of the 39th annual Pirelli Calendar, unveiled Tuesday night at the Park Avenue Armory.  What do tires have to do with naked models?  We still don’t know, but we ain’t mad.

LORDS OF THE RING
These days, the world of boxing may be a dull, Balkanized affair (does anyone really know the difference between the sport’s many sanctioning bodies?), but it wasn’t always the case. As Cheryl Dunn’s portfolio in the new issue of Victory (and previewed on Nowness) attests, in the 1980’s and 90’s boxing was the glamorous, blood-splattered embodiment of a combative...

Hammer Time: ‘Art for Africa Auction’
Jeff Sonhouse Off White Incarnation 2011. Watercolor and mixed media on paper It’s not like us to make the trek all the way uptown, especially without a passport, but we couldn’t resist a preview of the “Art for Africa” auction at Sotheby’s.  Featuring works donated by established and emerging artists (Peter Beard, Andy Warhol, Nick Cave, E.V. Day, Jeff Sonhouse, Hank Willis Thomas and...

ADE OCCUPIES MTV
The Wall Street protestors may have been swept from Zuccotti Park, but Chris Glover, aka Penguin Prison, continues to stick it to The Man with his new single, “Don’t Fuck With My Money.” Directed by ALLDAYEVERYDAY’s Jake Sumner, the song’s video, which is now on MTV, was shot in Lower Manhattan among the demonstrators hell-bent on bringing down the 1 percent. We dig it.

Tokyo Calling
The news of Anna Wintour’s deejaying during the inaugural Fashion’s Night Out in Tokyo next week got us about as excited as, well, anything to do with Fashion’s Night Out. But if we ever needed an excuse to hop on a long-haul flight to Narita, it’s the “Pictures” photography exhibition, curated by ADE’s Ken Miller, opening Nov. 7 at the Diptrics Gallery....

Road Rage: Evolve Scooters Launch at Milk Studios
Ok, so maybe we’re a little biased because they’re our friends but the best party last week was hands down the bash for Evolve’s new line of electric scooters developed by Lex Kendall, Benjamin Plum, and Mazdack Rassi of Milk Studios.  About 200 hundred heaven-sent and hell-bent partygoers — including ADE’s Bailey Beckstead and Horacio Silva, top, and Ben Pundole and Waris (bottom) — hit the...
